These are articles I copy edited for my Editing Research team members. The articles highlight research articles on editing by explaining studies simply and summarizing salient results and implications.
When I edited for the American studies student journal, Americana, I was given this article in September and told to have all edits done by the end of the year; that was the only instruction. I completed all stages of editing—substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading—on my own.
I managed the blog for a marriage counseling business, Communicating Love. I was given 56 video transcripts and told to turn them into blog posts. I performed substantive edits, copy edits, and proofreading on each article. I published each of the articles (since 2022) on the blog with appropriate SEO and pictures.
